Francis Koh

Principal

Practicing law for over fifteen years, Francis Koh has both experience and energy to assist clients in reaching their goals. His science and art background gives him creative insight to complex and difficult matters.

Mr. Koh graduated from Cornell University with a BFA and subsequently obtained an MS in Chemistry from Florida Atlantic University. He then graduated cum laude from Catholic University Law School and clerked for the Honorable Frederick Weisberg at the DC Superior Court on the accelerated felony trial calendar.

Soon after Mr. Koh’s clerkship, he successfully litigated a patent infringement suit in the U.S. District Court of Virginia, Eastern District of Virginia and in the U.S. District Court of California, matching the wit and fire power of one of the most prestigious international law firms. While litigating the patent suit, Mr. Koh established Koh Law Firm, LLC in 2003, representing individuals and local businesses.

Mr. Koh specializes in the areas of asset protection, bankruptcy, intellectual property, real estate, and wills and trusts. He is licensed to practice in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC, and he is admitted to the State Supreme Courts of Maryland and Virginia, the Court of Appeals in the District of Columbia, as well as the U.S. District Courts of Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
