B-1 or B-2 Visa
Visitors can apply to visit the U.S. on a temporary basis on either a B-1 Visa for business, for example attending conferences, business meetings, or on a B-2 Visa for pleasure like a vacation. Under a B-1 or B-2 Visa, the applicant must be a permanent resident in their home country and have no intention of abandoning when the applicant enters the U.S. for a temporary period for either business or pleasure.
